Hey, guys. Sorry I’ve been so scarce around here lately (all my blogs start this way, don’t they?), but it looks like I’m going to continue to be pretty scarce until April. Edits for The Shattered Dark are due at the end of the month, so I have three weeks to make this book perfect. Yep, I’m in oh-my-God-I-have-a-deadline mode. I think I’ve been in this mode for the last six months.

And, of course, in the midst of this crazy oh-my-God-I-have-a-deadline mode, the whole family caught a nasty stomach virus this week. For 3/4ths of us, it’s mainly been a 24 hour bug, but it looks like Baby #2 is still having problems. Poor guy. Most of the time, the husband and I say that having twins isn’t twice as hard as having a single baby. One baby is a lot of work! But when one is sick, and one wants attention and is starting to army crawl everywhere, it’s sooo hard to do everything. I want to hold Baby #2 because he feels so bad, but I have to put him down before #1 goes ballistic.

Let’s see. What else is going on? Oh, the audiobook for The Shadow Reader comes out next Tuesday! You can hear a sample on Tantor’s site and…

Ugh. Baby #1 is waking up. Break is over. Will attempt to post again next week. Wish me luck with the revisions!

Oh, sweetie, I so remember those days…it just feels like there isn’t enough of you to go around, doesn’t it? And I was just dealing with the girls at that age, not trying to meet a deadline, too. I don’t know how you do it and have decided that perhaps you’re that superwoman we all aspire to being. 🙂 Hang in there, it will all (somehow) get done and one day you’ll look back on this, shake your head, and laugh about it. I promise! 🙂 Big hugs to you all!

Wow, it seems like you have your hands full! I know how you feel, my family also caught the stomach flu a couple weeks back, it was like going around the home like a rapid fire. It literally jump from one person to the next. I hope the little guy gets better soon, and good luck on your book revision!
