This announcement showed up in Publishers Marketplace yesterday.
Sci-Fi/Fantasy Fiction:
Sandy Williams’s third installment in the SHADOW READER series, in which a woman must choose her fate once and for all as the war in the Realm rages on, to Ace, with Jesse Feldman editing, by Joanna Volpe at New Leaf Literary & Media.
So, it’s official! Good thing, too, because I would have hated for McKenzie’s story to end the way it did in book two. Plus, I’ve been working on this book for the past six months! lol
Other good news? THE SHADOW READER and THE SHATTERED DARK sold to Germany! No details on when, but I’m super excited about this. I studied abroad in Germany in 2001 and freaking love that country. It’s beautiful for one, and it has so much history. Albeit, it’s a dark and sad history. But I was so intrigued by the country that I came back home and took German as my foreign language. I’d love to go back some day!
Good to know as I just finished reading book two and was freaking pissed! LOL in a good book way 🙂 I hope there isn’t too long of a wait!
heh Yeah. If book two was actually THE end, it would be awful! I’d have to find some other way to get the rest of the story out!
Also, glad you were pissed in a GOOD way. lol 🙂
Oh, and I’ve been to Germany for eight months. Couldn’t agree more!
I love your series, I can’t wait to hear more about the serum. I kind of wish she would go with Kyol *sigh*
Any idea what the new title will be? Or….. release date? like… 2013? or 2014?
I’m so in love with Kyol. But then there’s Aren…
*sigh*
As far as the release date for book three, all I’ve heard is that it’s scheduled for some time in January of 2014. I know. It’s forever and a day away. It sounded like there might be a chance for it to come out sooner, but it’s such a slim chance it’s hardly worth mentioning.
I’ll ask for more info when I turn in book three.
Hi I am from Germany und ich lieeeeeeeeeebe deine Bücher. Ich hab mich gefreut wie ein kleines Kind zu hören das du mein Land liebst. I`m so happy to hear that your books are sold to my country so a lot of my friends can finally read them too. Can`t wait for the story to continue…what an ending!!! Liebe Grüße aus dem guten alten Deutschland
Dani
heh I understood about half of that! Really, my German is pretty terrible these days. I keep getting it mixed up with Spanish!
Can’t wait for the German release!!!
