Words were written last week, but just barely. I wrote 5,357 words and had a few scene epiphanies. My goal was 5,000 so I guess that’s good, but I was really distracted last week. I could have done better.

But, man, was I tired. I started Jazzercise again. Those people who tell you that exercise gives you energy? They’re lying. It has never given me more energy. It makes me want to crawl under the covers and sleep the rest of the day away. Gonna stick with it, though, unless my knee gives out on me. I don’t know what its deal is. I haven’t injured it; it just started gradually hurting more and more over the last six months, and now I can’t bend it all the way without a hell of a lot of pain. Boo.

I should have a newsletter out tomorrow! Just a quickie and not one with a lot of news. More of a “hey, there, I’m still alive” email since it’s been *ahem* a year *ahem* since I last sent one. Why, yes, I am bracing for the massive amount of unsubscribes that are soon to be coming. lol But really, all of you who have stuck with me and continue to stick with me, I super appreciate it.

Not subscribed? You can do that here. And, obviously, you don’t have to worry about me sending out a buttload of emails. lol I’m hoping to send out four this year, one a quarter. If things go as planned, the next one *might* have cover art.

I finished my first book of 2019. That’s the good news. The bad news is I hated it. *sigh* I hate hating books. I should have just DNF’d this one but I really, really wanted to love it.

It wasn’t Heir of Fire. I’m still reading and enjoying that one. 🙂

What was your first read of 2019?
