Okay. It’s not done done, but the first draft is written and it’s pretty darn solid. I couldn’t be happier! I haven’t “finished” a book in a long time.
I made my January 20,000 word count goal. I’d like to write that much every month (except December; I’ve given up on Decembers). I’m not sure how that’s going to work out for February, though, since I’ll be revising. The plan is to edit a chapter a day. I’m hoping I can also write new words, either on Kennedy’s second book or the third anomaly novel, which I know a lot of you guys are waiting on. I’m still learning my writing rhythm, so it’ll be interesting to see how this month goes.
Off to do some editing and title brainstorming! Have a great week, guys!
So excited to hear this! I usually forget series that I have to wait for…but I haven’t been able to get your stories out of my head! Thank you for sticking with it even when the going was occasionally slow!
Aw, thanks! I’m excited about this book! When I’m not terrified of it, of course. I’m hoping it’s awesome. lol
I feel so lucky my books have stuck with you. That’s a huge compliment! Thank you! <3
Until I read your blog I was worried you’d written yourself into a corner the cliff hanger was epic!
